Curriculum Support
St. Rose School is dedicated to recognizing the uniqueness of each student and assisting them in reaching their individual potential. Our Resource Program is directed by our Educational Achievement Specialist (EAS) who works closely with students, teachers and families to ensure our students’ success at St. Rose School. Our EAS works with our students, primarily grades kindergarten-four, and supports teachers and students in grades five-eight. In addition to small group instruction our EAS facilitates the Student Support Team (SST) process in accordance with the Diocese. This includes identifying students in need, advocates the use of tiered interventions, and facilitates communication with parents and education agencies.
The goal of the St. Rose School Library is to encourage students to develop a love of reading through exposure to a variety of reading materials and resources. Kindergarten through Fifth Grade classes visit the library on a weekly basis to learn library and literacy skills as they explore and check out books.
